Hannah McCaughey
Hannah is a highly experienced C-suite executive leader across infrastructure and utilities including electricity networks and transmission, energy retail, power generation, distributed energy and gas transmission.
Extensive international experience including 15 years in the UK, USA, East Timor and Australia. Experience includes P&L leadership positions, £1bn of successful M&A and debt transactions, innovation functions and manage £4.2bn major project delivery.
She has led multiple successful whole of business transformations including the delivering new business models to decarbonise and digitise energy markets to reach net zero targets. This includes hydrogen blending for gas pipelines, technology to enable smart electricity grids, digital-only energy products and Virtual Power Plants. She developed and led $300m+ of IT programs and digital platforms to support new business models and operational efficiency.
Hannah is passionate about modern leadership – from building innovation teams of 5 to leading multi-regional, cross-functional teams of 700+ – and has extensive experience in integrating business and technology strategy with people strategy to create significant commercial success.
Mark Woodall
As an entrepreneur, investor, adviser and board member, Mark has been a leader in the development and financing of renewable energy, carbon and clean technologies for over 25 years. He has founded and led two specialist investment banking firms focused on low carbon economy: Impax Capital (1994) and Climate Change Capital (2002). He has been the adviser, investor or principal in c.100 cleantech transactions with total capital deployed of over US$5billion. Mark has also acted as a non-executive board member of a dozen companies and has been a member of half a dozen investment committees for clean energy infrastructure and technology funds.
